Gotta Be You: Prologue

It's been 5 months now since I moved to London to study at Lewisham College. It's like a whole new world compared to Australia, with the red double decker buses, busy streets and old, fancy-looking buildings all new to me. I am yet to make any friends, scared that I'll become too close to them and that I'll miss them too much when I go back home and that they won't like me. A lot of people back home had paid me out for liking 'different' things, and for being myself. Although there is one girl that I often catch looking and smiling at me. I smile back politely but we never talk. She's very pretty, straight auburn hair, fair skin covered with freckles and she's slimmer than me too. Unlike her, I'm sure, I'm called a loner and a loser, but most recently and I'm proud to say, a directioner.
